Ruby Schuler-Wendell

Ruby Schuler-Wendell, 83, formerly of Clinton, now of Higgins Lake, MI, passed away on Saturday, July 10, 2010, at 4:45 PM, at Mercy Hospital, Grayling.
She was born on January 26, 1927 in Clinton, MI to Sam and Ida (Asman) Anglemyre. On July 20, 1946, she married Arthur (Jake) Schuler at the Clinton Congregational Church. Sadly, he preceded her in death on June 18, 1977. She earned a Master Degree in Education and was a teacher with the Cheboygan Area Schools. She married Lawrence (Hap) Wendell in 1989 in Cheboygan and he survives.
Other survivors are her children; Lynn (Bonnie) Schuler of Clinton, Terry Schuler of Ft. Myers, FL, and Dale (Kerry) Schuler of Mesa, AZ, stepchildren; Patricia Wendell of Gladwin, Gregory Wendell of Fowlerville, David (Debbie) Wendell of Fenton, and Lawrence (Marianne) Wendell of Dover, OH, 16 grandchildren, and 25 great grandchildren.
At her request, cremation has been held; a Memorial Service celebrating her life will take place at her graveside in Riverside Cemetery, on Thursday, July 15, at 2 PM. Dr. Lorraine Grinnell will officiate. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial gifts in her name be given to Cheboygan Area Schools.
